- <t id="12">Terracorp originally planned to expand their own influence into Cold Star in order to make use of its numerous resources. However, after the Jump Gate realignment between Home of Light and Toride, Terracorp decided to send the homeless Toride Colonists into the system instead, asking them to take over the resource collection operations there in return for a safer home than their original colony. The Colonists now have free reign over the inhabited parts of Cold Star, as long as they continuously deliver the resources Terracorp requires to keep the cluster of systems fully functional.</t>

- <t id="14">Once one of the core systems of the Argon Federation, Home of Light remained a bastion of hope for a life of prosperity after the Jump Gate shutdown. With the Federation unable to ship supplies from Argon Prime, the system became dependant on the vast resources and expertise of Terracorp and, while some luxury sacrifices were made, the people remained well fed and well defended. Such was its success during The Dark, that when Home of Light's Jump Gates realigned, not only was it able to provide much needed support to the Terran populace of Toride, but was also able to easily expand into Cold Star.</t>

- <t id="16">As part of a last-gasp attempt to escape a war they knew they were losing, a small group of Terrans colonised a small pocket of this system only shortly before the Jump Gate shutdown. Completely cut off from any support from Sol, it was only then that the Toride Colonists realised the mistake they had made, as on the outskirts of their new home, they found a host of hostile forces already in conflict over ownership of the area. Unable to maintain any kind of military force, it was a godsend for the Colonists when their gate reconnected with Home of Light, and the Terrans were finally able to flee the clutches of their doom.</t>

- <t id="36">This sector was the first outside of Ode Monumenti to which the Toride Colonists expanded their second colony, choosing the region because of its numerous natural resources. Even with the Nirin Treaty already in place, the discovery of these resources greatly improved relationships between the Terrans and the Argons of Home of Light, bringing several years of prosperity to both peoples.</t>

- <t id="38">Originally meant for an Argon resource collection operation, this space was given to the Terran Toride Colonists by Terracorp in return for a steady supply of the resources that are situated in the region. - <t id="40">Discovered only recently by Terran scouts, this area carries with it as many natural dangers as it does natural resources. Inhabited areas within the sector have been carefully placed to avoid the dangerous nebulae and asteroid fields that fill much of the centre of the region. Natural dangers aside, The Quarry is relatively isolated, though recent reports suggest that lately there has been an increase in hostile activity.</t>

West Gate was also the site of the Nirin Treaty signing between Terracorp and the Toride Colonists, agreeing that the Terrans would take over the Terracorp resource collection operation in Cold Star in return for safety and security from the threats that had haunted them for so long.</t>
- <t id="45">Sillarne's Triumph</t>
- <t id="46">Having successfully pushed the Xenon away from Home of Light's 'West Gate', General Met Sillarne and his executive officers, Commanders Hayla Jerigan and York Ohneaim, carefully devised a seven-step strategy to catch the Xenon off-guard and force them back through the Toride gate. Though many believed this strategy would ultimately fail, under Sillarne's leadership the Terracorp Security Fleet was in fact successful; managing to outthink and outmanoeuvre the machines until they had no choice to flee or be destroyed.</t>
- <t id="47">Akeela's Dream</t>
- <t id="48">It was here, many years ago, that a young Argon scientist by the name of Akeela Hartnell first lay down her proposal on the creation of artificial stars. After days of intense debate over the fidelity of her proof and the feasability of any project coming from it, the Argon Federation did eventually approve designs for a ship that would be able to carry one of Akeela's beacons. Hartnell and her team designed the ship here before the plans were sent to Omicron Lyrae for construction. Though her project ultimately ended in ruin, the dream Akeela shared with millions helped to inspire decades of exploration and colonisation.</t>
- <t id="49">Terracorp Headquarters</t>
- <t id="50">Describing the space immediately around the Terracorp Headquaters, this sector is the beating heart of Home of Light's strong economy, as well as serving as its centre of government. All operations are run from here, with reasonably new highways and the ever impressive Terracorp Security fleet designed to keep the Headquarters as far away from any threats as possible.</t>

This has recently led to fearful questions from some corners of the scientific community as to why the Xenon are so deeply mimicing Argon behaviour.</t>

- <t id="8502">Once just the headquaters of a single company, since the Jump Gate shutdown, the Terracorp HQ has become the effective capitol for Home of Light, Toride and Cold Star. It is from here that CEO Dal Nirin governs both the corperate matters of Terracorp's business and the economic matters of the Argon and Terran people of those three systems. It also serves as the headquarters to the Terracorp Security Fleet, which is employed to keep the area safe from all outside threats.</t>

- <t id="8602">These stations are nothing more than a collection of bound together storage modules. They are used primarly to hold wares bought with no immediate selling option, but can also function as trading stations in themselves should the owner so choose, in that wares stored here can be sold as stock in competition to dedicated producers.</t>
- <t id="8701">Highway Station</t>
- <t id="8702">Designed as a solution to the growing population of Home of Light during the Jump Gate shutdown, these habitat-stations were placed close to highways to ensure fast travel and less traffic around the system.</t>

- <t id="8802">Offering bed and board to those travelling through the tri-system \(collective for Cold Star, Home of Light and Toride\), travel lodges are located along the highway ring orbiting Home of Light as a go-between, where it is easy to find security and comfort against the dangers of space travel.</t>

- <t id="8902">These small outpost stations were set up by the Toride Colonists after they discovered the threats on the outskirts of their new home to watch over the areas of the system deemed more difficult to defend. Like the larger colony stations, some of these outposts were commandeered by the Atlas Pirates after the Colonists fled the system.</t>
- <t id="9001">Hydrogen-3 Facility</t>
- <t id="9002">These facilities are specifically designed to extract hydrogen-3 from inside asteroids, and as such are usually build into these asteroids' surfaces. To stop the hydrogen from immediately escaping when extracted, large containment fields are built around the facility, and excess gas is caught by pipes pulling it back towards the stations storage modules.</t>
- <t id="9101">Mineral Mine</t>
- <t id="9102">Based off the design of the ore and silicon mines used before the move towards mining asteroid fields using ships, the mineral mine is capable of extracting both ore and silicion from asteroids that are deemed to yield a high supply of both. Extraction is carried out by an army of automated pnuematic drills controlled from the mine's central hub, and will usually continue until the asteroid is completely hollowed out.</t>
- <t id="9201">Aqueduct Water Collector</t>
- <t id="9202">A relic of the time before the Jump Gate shutdown, the Aqueduct-class water collection station was the last resource-collection station built by Bolo Mu Aquatic Solultions \(BMAS\) before the company began developing cheaper and more efficient methods of gathering resources using mining ships. This spelled the end for resource-collection stations, and only a few Aqueduct-class stations were built throughout the universe before it was decommissioned.</t>

- <t id="9302">At the beating heart of the tri-system is the beating heart of Home of Light; the men and women who work day in, day out to ensure life is always comfortable across the system. Business centres hold office upon office filled with such people, placed along the central highway ring to ensure they can reach their workplace, and at the end of each day their homes, as quickly as possible.</t>
- <t id="9401">Place of Worship</t>
- <t id="9402">Religion has not always been looked upon kindly in this age of continuously improving technology and science, but, particularly after their reunion with the Terran Toride Colonists, Terracorp have strived to make Home of Light a place where all feel comfortable, and so have constructed multi-religious places of worship along their central highway ring for those inclined to visit whenever they feel it necessary.</t>

- <t id="9502">Those who work directly for the corperation solely responsible for every person's wellbeing in Home of Light, Cold Star and Toride work in segregated offices along Home of Light's central highway ring. These are functionally the same as other business centres, but additionally give the workers access to Terracorp's huge database and computer network, ensuring smooth and efficient progress throughout all three systems.</t>

- <t id="8202">The station harbour was developed to extend far enough away from a station so that capital ships could dock easily and without danger of damaging the station itself. - <t id="5002">Designed to release its bullet at such high speed to cause significant and almost immediate damage to its target, this particular implementation of a railgun is also equipped with an auto-zoom that allows it to focus on far-away targets when the trigger is pulled. Charging the weapon will then allow the user to specify the level of damage dealt, and only releasing the trigger will actually fire the bullet. This makes the Railgun a very effective sniper weapon.</t>
